The design of a company’s infrastructure is not an easy task, and measuring of the utilization can in most cases only be done by applying complicated and expensive solutions. Our company has developed a system that is suitable for the monitoring of virtual infrastructures in a VMware environments, but unlike similar solution on the market, in case of our application there is no need of an expert to use the system as the user interface was designed so that anyone can use it. With the processing of historical data and the analysis of the current load information, VIM facilitates the decision making regarding the capacity optimization of the virtual infrastructure.

Simple, one-off installation, no need of an expert

The application is available pre-installed on a virtual machine or a microcontroller. The advantage of a microcontroller is that the system can process and display sensor data (temperature, humidity, etc.) connected to the controller. The user only needs to analyze the results. Changes such as the display of new hosts and virtual machines and structural changes in the virtual infrastructure is traced by the system automatically and there is no need to install additional modules (agents).
